This has no effect on normal use of this repository. The scanner clones this repository and locates this file. While we could store it in the scanner configuration, storing it here simplifies keeping CI and this in sync. References to postgresql/project.yaml are forward-looking; see github.com/nmisch/oss-scanner/blob/enroll-postgresql/projects/postgresql/project.yaml for the planned future content. This directory contains the source code distribution of the PostgreSQL database management system.
PostgreSQL is an advanced object-relational database management system that supports an extended subset of the SQL standard, including transactions, foreign keys, subqueries, triggers, user-defined types and functions. This distribution also contains C language bindings.
