For both ln and install, when using `--backup=simple --suffix=S',
the suffix `S' wasn't used.
* src/ln.c (main): Actually use the local variable,
`backup_suffix_string'. Nelson Beebe reported the unused variable.
* tests/ln/misc: Add a test for this.
