Summary: ## Summary Pull Request resolved: https://github.com/facebook/rocksdb/pull/15080 Introduce reusable `CoroStackableDBBase` forwarding and public `CoroDB::CoGet()` / `CoMultiGet()` entry points matching the `DB::Get()` / `MultiGet()` overloads. These helpers schedule native coroutine reads on the read executor and use the synchronous DB API when coroutine support or a read executor is unavailable. Use the stackable coroutine hooks for TTL and WritePrepared transaction reads. TTL preserves expiration decoding and timestamp behavior, while WritePrepared preserves transaction visibility. TTL keeps a single `DB` inheritance path while adding `CoroDB`: ``` DBWithTTLImpl `-- CoroStackableDBBase<DBWithTTL> |-- DBWithTTL -> StackableDB -> DB `-- CoroDB ``` `CoroDB::CoGet()` dispatches through the stackable coroutine hook and schedules the operation on the read EventBase. `CoMultiGet()` follows the same path: ``` CoroDB::CoGet(db, ...) |-- db->GetCoroDB() -> DBWithTTLImpl |-- no CoroDB or read executor -> db->Get() `-- schedule on read EventBase `-- virtual CoroDB::GetCoroutine() `-- DBWithTTLImpl::GetCoroutine() |-- CoroStackableDBBase<DBWithTTL>::GetCoroutine() | `-- wrapped CoroDB::GetCoroutine() `-- strip TTL timestamp ``` Reviewed By: xingbowang Differential Revision: D115232510 fbshipit-source-id: 59e5090db28d15bcff1a8b9b8c0b30ca7eeb742d
RocksDB: A Persistent Key-Value Store for Flash and RAM Storage
RocksDB is developed and maintained by Facebook Database Engineering Team. It is built on earlier work on LevelDB by Sanjay Ghemawat (sanjay@google.com) and Jeff Dean (jeff@google.com)
This code is a library that forms the core building block for a fast key-value server, especially suited for storing data on flash drives. It has a Log-Structured-Merge-Database (LSM) design with flexible tradeoffs between Write-Amplification-Factor (WAF), Read-Amplification-Factor (RAF) and Space-Amplification-Factor (SAF). It has multi-threaded compactions, making it especially suitable for storing multiple terabytes of data in a single database.
