When this suite runs installcheck, redirect file creations from src/test/regress to src/bin/pg_upgrade/tmp_check/regress. This closes a race condition in "make -j check-world". If the pg_upgrade suite wrote to a given src/test/regress/results file in parallel with the regular src/test/regress invocation writing it, a test failed spuriously. Even without parallelism, in "make -k check-world", the suite finishing second overwrote the other's regression.diffs. This revealed test "largeobject" assuming @abs_builddir@ is getcwd(), so fix that, too. Buildfarm client REL_10, released forty-five days ago, supports saving regression.diffs from its new location. When an older client reports a pg_upgradeCheck failure, it will no longer include regression.diffs. Back-patch to 9.5, where pg_upgrade moved to src/bin. Reviewed by Andrew Dunstan. PostgreSQL is an advanced object-relational database management system that supports an extended subset of the SQL standard, including transactions, foreign keys, subqueries, triggers, user-defined types and functions. This distribution also contains C language bindings. PostgreSQL has many language interfaces, many of which are listed here: https://www.postgresql.org/download See the file INSTALL for instructions on how to build and install PostgreSQL. That file also lists supported operating systems and hardware platforms and contains information regarding any other software packages that are required to build or run the PostgreSQL system. Copyright and license information can be found in the file COPYRIGHT. A comprehensive documentation set is included in this distribution; it can be read as described in the installation instructions. The latest version of this software may be obtained at https://www.postgresql.org/download/. For more information look at our web site located at https://www.postgresql.org/.
