# Writing Your Own Pipeline Blocks
In Modular Diffusers, you build your workflow using `ModularPipelineBlocks`. We support 4 different types of blocks: `PipelineBlock`, `SequentialPipelineBlocks`, `LoopSequentialPipelineBlocks`, and `AutoPipelineBlocks`. Among them, `PipelineBlock` is the most fundamental building block of the whole system - it's like a brick in a Lego system.
