연결에 대한 원격 사용자명을 로그에 기록한다. <a href="mod_log_config.html#formats">형식문자열</a>로

<code>%...l</code>을 사용하여 접근 로그에 이 정보를 기록한다.</p>

기본적인 사용추적 외의 용도로 이 정보를 신뢰할 수 없다.

<p>요청마다 검색을 해야 하기때문에 서버 접근이 상당히 지연되는

문제가 발생할 수 있음을 유의하라. 중간에 방화벽이나 프록시서버가
|
|
있다면, 아마도 검색은 실패할 것이고 매 요청에 <code class="directive"><a href="#identitychecktimeout">IdentityCheckTimeout</a></code> 지시어로
|
|
지정한만큼 지연이 발생한다. 그래서 보통 인터넷의 공개된
|
|
서버에서는 유용하지 않다.</p>
