7586599090 worker is not the default Unix MPM. [This statement has been in the docs 
ever since this was copy-and-pasted from the threaded MPM documentation,
and threaded *was* the default at one point.]

0e4e2245e1 Properly substitute sbindir as httpd's location in apachectl. 
We install $(PROGRAMS) into $(sbindir) not $(bindir), so this is correct.

da91ebd816 Change httpd.pid placement to rel_runtimedir instead of rel_logfiledir. 
With the standard apache layout, this changes nothing (since runtimedir ==
logfiledir), but for other layouts, this makes a lot more sense.

d14107e925 Remove hardcoded paths from MPMs and move them to a more central 
place.  Expand paths in httpd-std.conf in a similar fashion as we do
in our headers.

a9fbf24e63 Update the transformations. 
Sorry for the huge diff.  It seems that switching from Xalan-j to xalan-c
causes the attributes to get reordered.

Suggestions for improvements to the build system would be greatly
appreciated.
