This avoids the following server error:

This makes easier to merge new code into master branch.
Moves the responsability of quoting to the driver instead of the
DatabaseInterface class. Uses PHP 8.6's mysqli::quote_string()
if available.

Remove versions below 5.7 as they redirect to the latest version
(currently 9.7).
Add a special condition for server-error-reference as it lives at a
different section of the docs.
Support links to MySQL version 9.

This is mostly useful for tables that have no unique key.
Except for the chnage in InsertEdit::getDisplayValueForForeignTableColumn, which is relevant for multi-column foreign keys.

CreateAddField::getIndexedColumns() passed the raw $_POST index values
straight to json_decode(). When a column is added through a request that
does not submit the primary_indexes, indexes, unique_indexes,
fulltext_indexes and spatial_indexes fields (for example when adding a
primary key column from the normalization page), those keys are
undefined. Under strict_types this raised "json_decode(): Argument #1
($json) must be of type string, null given" together with "Undefined
array key" warnings, and the column was not added.
Default each of these request values to an empty JSON array so that
adding a column keeps working when no index information is provided.

Avoid repeated sql queries for foreighn keys, speed things up
when duplicate key values are in the result set to display.

The Host column of SHOW PROCESSLIST contains the client connection address
in "hostname:port" format (e.g., localhost:64776). Passing this directly as
the hostname URL parameter to /server/privileges causes the user lookup to
fail, since mysql.user.Host stores bare hostnames without port numbers.
Strip the trailing port suffix before building the privileges link URL.
The Host column display is unchanged.

The !is_numeric guard is redundant; the round-trip already covers
non-numeric inputs since (int) of a non-numeric string is 0.

When the XML file embeds the table structure, $analyses is null and
buildSql() falls back to is_numeric() to decide whether to quote. That
strips quotes from values like "01234", which silently drops the leading
zero on a varchar column and causes a duplicate-key error if the table
also contains "1234".
Add a roundtrip check: a value is still treated as numeric only when
casting it to int or float gives back the original string. "01234",
"1e10" and similar fail the roundtrip and stay quoted; plain integers
like 1 and 1234 keep their existing unquoted form.
