It dawned on me that I would need to grow a char buffer one extra char bigger to accomodate a trailing '\n'ewline that I append to it later one. This is only necessary for the case of one inserted, appended, or changed line, but it's still necessary.

Brand, new sed that uses libc regex routines. There is some common code used by both sed & grep that should be put into utility.c as per Mat Kraai's suggestions/patch on the mailing list. Specifically, a common regex_compile() and a regex_subst() function need to be made.

The build depends were too strict. I depended on on debhelper (>= 2.0.80) while debhelper 1.1.24 is available for slink. Just forget the dependancy -- it isn't needed. -Erik

Removed sfdisk from BusyBox. It was buggy, fat, and we really couldn't maintain it very well, so including it was not very appropriate. Those wanting an fdisk are invited to grab a copy from util-linux. -Erik

setkeycodes needs get_console_fd(), so if you disable chvt and deallocvt, but leave setkeycodes active, busybox will not link. Also fix a trivial use-before-initialize warning. Both fixes from Jon McClintock <jonm@bluemug.com>.
