stephan 2cf93f054d An attempted workaround for a MacOS-ism which causes the strchrnul() feature test to incorrectly pass though strchrnul() is not available. This new check works on Linux but is as-yet untested on the affected systems. See [forum:95edc7a8d7d1de59|forum post 95edc7a8d7d1de59].
