b51bf43966 Compile with the SQLITE_ENABLE_8_3_NAME macro set to 2 to force 8+3 filenames

81cc516352 Add the ability to limit filenames to 8+3 using the 
SQLITE_ENABLE_8_3_NAMES compile-time option together with a URI
parameter of "8_3_names=1".

158b9cb965 Fix all known instances of signed-integer overflow. Within SQL expressions, 
integer overflow now forces coercion to floating point.  The shift operators
work with any integer right-hand operand with negative values reversing
the direction of the shift.

60ac3f426c Fix the max_page_count pragma so that it will not set to a value smaller 
than the current database size, as the documentation requires.  Also,
remove all occurances of atoi() from the core.

9339da1f22 Rework the text to numeric conversion routines so that they work with either 
UTF8 or UTF16 and do not require a NULL terminator.  This allowed text to
numeric conversion without reallocating the string.

9f129f467e Add evidence mark comments to source code. Add additional information to the 
documentation of sqlite3_release_memory().  Fix a minor inefficiency in mem1.c
that was discovered while writing requirements tests.

127f9d75e2 Add the ".log" command to the shell. This shows that some errors are logged 
multiple times and other errors are never logged at all.

expressions.  Change Expr.zToken to Expr.u.zToken and added Expr.u.iValue.

b7916a78ff Simplifications to the Expr object: Remove Expr.span completely and convert 
Expr.token into a char* Expr.zToken.  Also simplify the Token object by

24fb627afa Record within the Token structure itself whether or not the token has 
been dequoted.  This steals one bit from the length of a token and
thus limits the size of tokens to 1GiB. (CVS 6589)

fbd60f826d Changes to completely remove all floating point ops if SQLITE_OMIT_FLOATING_POINT defined. Note that w/o fp, date/time, round, nan, etc. are all gone or limited in functionality. Updated some of the test scripts to support missing fp and 64-bit functionality. Ticket #3029. (CVS 6250)
