7e3819f40d When calculating TCLLIBDIR from the configure script, filter out //zipfs: paths. Tcl9's (file isdir) returns true for those but they are not usable for our purposes, causing (make install DESTDIR...) to install tclsqlite3 under /zipfs. main.mk's counterpart to this piece already does that filtering by virtue of the shell's (test -d) behaving more conventionally.

e4e1b4a464 When using --with-tcl and friends during cross-compilation, emit a warning that tclConfig.sh will not be used. Addresses [forum:9771d82cd0cd7923|forum post 2026-10-04T17:25:09Z]. Normalize TCL to Tcl in nearby docs and help text because that's how tcl-lang.org types it.

86876d2f66 Enable the --column-metadata configuration flag in the 'autoconf' build. It was previously disabled with a comment that it changed how sqlite3.c was generated, but that's not the case. Addresses [bugs:2026-09-27T13:25:48Z|bug report 2026-09-27T13:25:48Z].

d501b949a3 Configure-script patches from [forum:fe9e99eb27c8|forum post fe9e99eb27c8] to address cygwin/msys cross-compilation issues related to --with-tcl and --with-tclsh. Stashing in a branch pending testing on those platorms. It does not adversely affect any native-build systems tested so far.

73da727480 Slightly rework the --editline configure flag for purposes of distinguishing between the two conventional libedit headers. When using libedit, invoke setlocale(), which appears to resolve [forum:aad7a634916ff050|forum post aad7a63491]'s report of non-ASCII input failng to work when linking against libedit.

f92d107242 Move some build docs around for clarity. Move the TARGET_DEBUG flags from the end of T.cc to the beginning so that -Ox flags can be passed to make for specific binaries without having to reconfigure.

5a05c59d4d In the zipfile extension, only return as many bytes as Inflate actually 
generated.  [forum:/forumpost/761eac3c82|Forum post 761eac3c82].
Adjust ./configure so that it builds zipfile into testfixture if ZLIB
is available, so that tests get run on unix platforms.

11ba513fe5 Skip checking for dlopen() on mingw builds and those which include "windows" in their host tuple, as suggested in [forum:2436c8ffed | forum post 2436c8ffed]. Those environments identify as Windows for SQLite's purposes so use LoadLibrary().

12bd8ea09a Add the --tclConfig.sh FILE flag to buildtclext.tcl to eliminate the discrepancy between the configure-time-detected tclConfig.sh and the one auto-detected by the tclextension family of makefile targets. Add the tclextension-all target to run all of the various tclextension-... targets in their natural order to facilitate testing changes like this one. Update the --help text to note that --with-tclsh should only be used if there's a specific need, and that --with-tcl is generall preferred. This is in response to [https://github.com/termux/termux-packages/issues/23268 | Termux ticket 23268].

509d899a2d Doc updates in proj.tcl. Improve configure check for whether fdatasync or nanosleep require -lrt. Remove references to 'tcl-config' build mode from sqlite-config.tcl, as that build is now implemented without a depency on sqlite-config.tcl because the TEA build's needs are considerably more modest.

91db54f07a Improve --all flag handling so that combinations of (--all --disable-FEATURE) and (--disable-all --FEATURE) work more intuitively. Add missing handling of the --fts3 flag (it was accepted but ignored before). Add TCL_LIBS to the set of vars exported via tclConfig.sh for use in the tea build.
