e5c66e42db Update test case for opening SHM files read/write on a read-only connection 
so that they are only attempted on Darwin with SQLITE_ENABLE_PRESIST_WAL.

cf178fc37e When opening the *-shm file for a readonly database, try to open it in read-write mode before falling back to readonly. This is in case some other read/write connection within the same process uses the same file descriptor.

b9f41b4fd1 Initial attempt to merge in all trunk changes over the previous 1.5 years. 
This check-in compiles but there are compiler warnings and "make test"
segfaults after only running a few test modules.

81f0740e59 Do not run test script spellfix.test if SQLITE_OMIT_VIRTUAL_TABLE is defined. Fix walro.test so that it works if DEFAULT_AUTOVACUUM is defined.

3314d12e03 Cherrypick [8c9ee1d78f] and [e416359633] from trunk: 
Ensure that there is always at least one aReadMark slot usable by an unprivileged reader while a checkpoint is running. Also, if one or more transactions are recovered from a log file, initialize one of the aReadMark slots to contain mxFrame as part of the recovery process.

aa09d0503d Simplify the readonly_shm implementation so that it conforms to the 
implementation on trunk.  Update the test cases to agree with the new
behavior.
