2cd2569c72 Convert macros to static inline functions (bufpage.h)
Remove PageIsValid() and PageSizeIsValid(), which weren't used and
seem unnecessary.

Some code using these formerly-macros needs some adjustments because
it was previously playing loose with the Page vs. PageHeader types,
which is no longer possible with the functions instead of macros.

0065174324 Avoid -Wconversion warnings when using checksum_impl.h
This does not matter much when compiling Postgres proper as many
warnings exist when enabling this compilation flag, but it can be
annoying for external modules willing to use both.

8c62d9d16f Make checksum_impl.h safe to compile with -fstrict-aliasing.
In general, Postgres requires -fno-strict-aliasing with compilers that
implement C99 strict aliasing rules. There's little hope of getting
rid of that overall. But it seems like it would be a good idea if
storage/checksum_impl.h in particular didn't depend on it, because
that header is explicitly intended to be included by external programs.
We don't have a lot of control over the compiler switches that an
external program might use, as shown by Michael Banck's report of
failure in a privately-modified version of pg_verify_checksums.

Hence, switch to using a union in place of willy-nilly pointer casting
inside this file. I think this makes the code a bit more readable
anyway.

checksum_impl.h hasn't changed since it was introduced in 9.3,
so back-patch all the way.

f04216341d Refactor checksumming code to make it easier to use externally.
pg_filedump and other external utility programs are likely to want to be
able to check Postgres page checksums. To avoid messy duplication of code,
move the checksumming functionality into an exported header file, much as
we did awhile back for the CRC code.

In passing, get rid of an unportable assumption that a static char[] array
will be word-aligned, and do some other minor code beautification.
