From 07353de4fbcd7ee93a445dc6bf2bb32f05fffef1 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Kevin Grittner Date: Sat, 21 Jun 2014 09:17:36 -0500 Subject: [PATCH] Fix documentation template for CREATE TRIGGER. By using curly braces, the template had specified that one of "NOT DEFERRABLE", "INITIALLY IMMEDIATE", or "INITIALLY DEFERRED" was required on any CREATE TRIGGER statement, which is not accurate. Change to square brackets makes that optional. Backpatch to 9.1, where the error was introduced. --- doc/src/sgml/ref/create_trigger.sgml | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/doc/src/sgml/ref/create_trigger.sgml b/doc/src/sgml/ref/create_trigger.sgml index 0f87b1fc96d..097d65e8cd4 100644 --- a/doc/src/sgml/ref/create_trigger.sgml +++ b/doc/src/sgml/ref/create_trigger.sgml @@ -24,7 +24,7 @@ PostgreSQL documentation CREATE [ CONSTRAINT ] TRIGGER name { BEFORE | AFTER | INSTEAD OF } { event [ OR ... ] } ON table_name [ FROM referenced_table_name ] - { NOT DEFERRABLE | [ DEFERRABLE ] { INITIALLY IMMEDIATE | INITIALLY DEFERRED } } + [ NOT DEFERRABLE | [ DEFERRABLE ] { INITIALLY IMMEDIATE | INITIALLY DEFERRED } ] [ FOR [ EACH ] { ROW | STATEMENT } ] [ WHEN ( condition ) ] EXECUTE PROCEDURE function_name ( arguments )
