ab56cbcd81 Stabilize and clean up a test
The counter buffer_flush_background_total_pages may be unreliable,
because pages can be flushed in different means.
So, let us only check INNODB_BUFFER_POOL_PAGES_FLUSHED.

f19da4a05a MDEV-23199 page_compression flag is missing for full_crc32 tablespace
Problem:
======
Making the tablespace as page_compressed doesn't do table rebuild.
It does change only the FSP_SPACE_FLAGS.

During recovery:
1) InnoDB encounters FILE_CREATE redo log and opens the tablespace
with old FSP_SPACE_FLAGS value.
2) Only parsing of redo log has been finished. Now InnoDB tries to
load the table. If the existing tablespace flags doesn't match
with table flags then InnoDB should read page0. But in
fsp_flags_try_adjust(), skips the page read for full_crc32 format.
3) After that, InnoDB tries to open the clustered index and it
leads to failure of page validation.

Fix:
===
While parsing the redo log record, track FSP_SPACE_FLAGS in
recv_spaces for the respective space id. Assign the flags for
the tablespace when it is loaded.

recv_parse_set_size_and_flags(): Parse the redo log to set the
tablespace recovery size and flags.

fil_space_set_recv_size_and_flags(): Changed from
fil_space_set_recv_size(). To set the recovery size and flags of
the tablespace.

Introduce flags variable in file_name_t to maintain the tablespace
flag which we encountered during parsing of redo log.

is_flags_full_crc32_equal(), is_flags_non_full_crc32_equal(): Rename
the variable page_ssize and space_page_ssize with fcrc32_psize and
non_fcrc32_psize.

75e82f71f1 MDEV-18867 Long Time to Stop and Start
fts_drop_orphaned_tables() takes long time to remove the orphaned
FTS tables. In order to reduce the time, do the following:

- Traverse fil_system.space_list and construct a set of
table_id,index_id of all FTS_*.ibd tablespaces.
- Traverse the sys_indexes table and ignore the entry
from the above collection if it exist.
- Existing elements in the collection can be considered as
orphaned fts tables. construct the table name from
(table_id,index_id) and invoke fts_drop_tables().
- Removed DICT_TF2_FTS_AUX_HEX_NAME flag usage from upgrade.
- is_aux_table() in dict_table_t to check whether the given name
is fts auxiliary table
fts_space_set_t is a structure to store set of parent table id
and index id
- Remove unused FTS function in fts0fts.cc
- Remove the fulltext index in row_format_redundant test case.
Because it deals with the condition that SYS_TABLES does have
corrupted entry and valid entry exist in SYS_INDEXES.

837bbbafc5 MDEV-23470 InnoDB: Failing assertion: cmp < 0 in row_ins_check_foreign_constraint
During insertion of clustered index, InnoDB does the check for foreign key
constraints. Problem is that it uses the clustered index entry to search
indexes of referenced tables and it could lead to unexpected result
when there is no foreign index.

Solution:
========
  Rebuild the tuple based on foreign column names before searching it
on reference index when there is no foreign index.

a19cb3884f MDEV-23511 shutdown_server 10 times out, causing server kill at shutdown
Shutdown of mtr tests may be too impatient, esp on CI environment where
10 seconds of `arg` of `shutdown_server arg` may not be enough for the clean
shutdown to complete.

This is fixed to remove explicit non-zero timeout argument to
`shutdown_server` from all mtr tests. mysqltest computes 60 seconds default
value for the timeout for the argless `shutdown_server` command.
This policy is additionally ensured with a compile time assert.

4c50120d14 MDEV-23474 InnoDB fails to restart after SET GLOBAL innodb_log_checksums=OFF
Regretfully, the parameter innodb_log_checksums was introduced
in MySQL 5.7.9 (the first GA release of that series) by
mysql/mysql-server@af0acedd88
which partly replaced a parameter that had been introduced in 5.7.8
mysql/mysql-server@22ba38218e
as innodb_log_checksum_algorithm.

Given that the CRC-32C operations are accelerated on many processor
implementations (AMD64 with SSE4.2; since MDEV-22669 also on IA-32
with SSE4.2, POWER 8 and later, ARMv8 with some extensions)
and by lookup tables when only generic SISD instructions are available,
there should be no valid reason to disable checksums.

In MariaDB 10.5.2, as a preparation for MDEV-12353, MDEV-19543 deprecated
and ignored the parameter innodb_log_checksums altogether. This should
imply that after a clean shutdown with innodb_log_checksums=OFF one
cannot upgrade to MariaDB Server 10.5 at all.

Due to these problems, let us deprecate the parameter innodb_log_checksums
and honor it only during server startup.
The command SET GLOBAL innodb_log_checksums will always set the
parameter to ON.

8268f26605 MDEV-22934 Table disappear after two alter table command
Problem:
=======
InnoDB drops the column which has foreign key relations on it. So it
tries to load the foreign key during rename process of copy algorithm
even though the foreign_key_check is disabled.

Solution:
========
During alter copy algorithm, InnoDB ignores the error while loading
the foreign key constraint if foreign key check is disabled. It
should throw the warning about failure of the foreign key constraint
when foreign key check is disabled.

efd8af535a MDEV-19526 heap number overflow on innodb_page_size=64k
InnoDB only reserves 13 bits for the heap number in the record header,
limiting the heap number to be at most 8191. But, when using
innodb_page_size=64k and secondary index records of 7 bytes each,
it is possible to exceed the maximum heap number.

btr_cur_optimistic_insert(): Let the operation fail if the
maximum number of records would be exceeded.

page_mem_alloc_heap(): Move to the same compilation unit with the
only caller, and let the operation fail if the maximum heap number
has been allocated already.

bbd70fcc43 MDEV-23379 Deprecate&ignore InnoDB concurrency throttling parameters
The parameters innodb_thread_concurrency and innodb_commit_concurrency
were useful years ago when both computing resources and the implementation
of some shared data structures were limited. MySQL 5.0 or 5.1 had trouble
scaling beyond 8 concurrent connections. Most of the scalability bottlenecks
have been removed since then, and the transactions per second delivered
by MariaDB Server 10.5 should not dramatically drop upon exceeding the
'optimal' number of connections.

Hence, enabling any concurrency throttling for InnoDB actually makes
things worse. We have seen many customers mistakenly setting this to a
small value like 16 or 64 and then complaining the server was slow.

Ignoring the parameters allows us to remove some normally unused code
and data structures, which could slightly improve performance.

innodb_thread_concurrency, innodb_commit_concurrency,
innodb_replication_delay, innodb_concurrency_tickets,
innodb_thread_sleep_delay, innodb_adaptive_max_sleep_delay:
Deprecate and ignore; hard-wire to 0.

The column INFORMATION_SCHEMA.INNODB_TRX.trx_concurrency_tickets
will always report 0.
