ee2b7db3f8 MDEV-4478: Implement GTID "strict mode"
When @@GLOBAL.gtid_strict_mode=1, then certain operations result
in error that would otherwise result in out-of-order binlog files
between servers.

GTID sequence numbers are now allocated independently per domain;
this results in less/no holes in GTID sequences, increasing the
likelyhood that diverging binlogs will be caught by the slave when
GTID strict mode is enabled.

416aed25ed MDEV-4475: Replication from MariaDB 10.0 to 5.5 does not work
The problem was the Gtid_list event which is logged to the binlog in
10.0 and is not understood by the 5.5 server.

This event is supposed to be replaced with a dummy event for 5.5
servers. But the very first event logged in the very first binlog
has an empty list of GTID, which makes the event too short to be
replacable with an empty event.

The fix is to pad the empty Gtid_list event to be big enough to
be replacable by a dummy event.

e8a0b9f943 Bug#16765278 DELETE SQL_LOAD_MB* FILE (TEMP FILE) CREATED
BY BINLOG_KILLED_SIMULATE.TEST

'mysqbinlog' tool creates a temporary file while
preparing LOAD DATA QUERY. These files needs to be deleted
at the end of the test script otherwise these files are
left out in the daily-run machines, causing
"no space on device issues"

Fix:
Delete them at the end of these test scripts
1) execute mysqlbinlog with --local-load option to
create these files in a specified tmpdir
2) delete the tmpdir at the end of the test script

b9ce8572d9 MDEV-4520: Assertion `0' fails in Query_cache::end_of_result on concurrent drop event and event execution

08ce9bfe05 MDEV-4566 : Failing DBUG_ASSERT() in SELECT SLEEP(), with threadpool.
This bug only happens with long sleep()s ( > 5 sec), and in debug version.

Analysis:
The assertion is caused by nested thd_wait_begin() calls, which is not an expected condition.
-  "outer" thd_wait_begin()) , in Item_func_sleep::val_int()
- "inner" thd_wait_begin() in Interruptible_wait::wait(). This function periodically checks whether connection is still valid, via THD::is_connection(), which ends up calling vio_io_wait() with timeout parameter set to 0.

Fix is not to call thd wait callback in vio_io_wait(), if timeout parameter is 0. There is no "waiting" in this case.

1cd6eb5f94 MDEV-26: Global transaction ID.
Change of user interface to be more logical and more in line with expectations
to work similar to old-style replication.

User can now explicitly choose in CHANGE MASTER whether binlog position is
taken into account (master_gtid_pos=current_pos) or not (master_gtid_pos=
slave_pos) when slave connects to master.

@@gtid_pos is replaced by three separate variables @@gtid_slave_pos (can
be set by user, replicated GTIDs only), @@gtid_binlog_pos (read only), and
@@gtid_current_pos (a combination of the two, most recent GTID within each
domain). mysql.rpl_slave_state is renamed to mysql.gtid_slave_pos to match.

This fixes MDEV-4474.

0c4f4ff015 Bug#16194302: SUPPORT FOR FLOATING-POINT SYSTEM VARIABLES
USING THE PLUGIN INTERFACE.

ISSUE: No support for floating-point plugin
       system variables.

SOLUTION: Allowing plugins to define and expose floating-point
system variables of type double. MYSQL_SYSVAR_DOUBLE
          and MYSQL_THDVAR_DOUBLE are added.

ISSUE: Fractional part of the def, min, max values of system
       variables are ignored.

SOLUTION: Adding functions that are used to store the raw
representation of a double in the raw bits of unsigned
longlong in a way that the binary representation
          remains the same.

35a3f9d76c Bug#12328597 - MULTIPLE COUNT(DISTINCT) IN SAME SELECT FALSE
WITH COMPOSITE KEY COLUMNS

Problem:-
While running a SELECT query with several AGGR(DISTINCT) function
and these are referring to different field of same composite key,
Returned incorrect value.

Analysis:-

In a table, where we have composite key like (a,b,c)
and when we give a query like

select COUNT(DISTINCT b), SUM(DISTINCT a) from ....

here, we first make a list of items in Aggr(distinct) function
(which is a, b), where order of item doesn't matter.
and then we see, whether we have a composite key where the prefix
of index columns matches the items of the aggregation function.
(in this case we have a,b,c).

if yes, so we can use loose index scan and we need not perform
duplicate removal to distinct in our aggregate function.

In our table, we traverse column marked with <-- and get the result as
(a,b,c) count(distinct b) sum(distinct a)
treated as count b treated as sum(a)
(1,1,2)<-- 1 1
(1,2,2)<--              1++=2                  1+1=2
(1,2,3)
(2,1,2)<--              2++=3                  1+1+2=4
(2,2,2)<--              3++=4                  1+1+2+2=6
(2,2,3)

result will be 4,6, but it should be (2,3)

As in this case, our assumption is incorrect. If we have
query like
select count(distinct a,b), sum(distinct a,b)from ..
then we can use loose index scan

Solution:-
In our query, when we have more then one aggr(distinct) function
then they should refer to same fields like

select count(distinct a,b), sum(distinct a,b) from ..

-->we can use loose scan index as both aggr(distinct) refer to same fields a,b.

If they are referring to different field like

select count(distinct a), sum(distinct b) from ..

-->will not use loose scan index as both aggr(distinct) refer to different fields.

53d44ad18b Added some fixes that should make MyISAM & Aria REPAIR work with more than 4G records
- If one specifies --force twice to myisamchk and aria_chk, then we will try to finnish the repair even if sort_buffer would be too small.
This was done by dynamically allocate buffer handler objects as long as memory lasts.
- New option for myisamchk and aria_chk: create-missing-keys
- Changed default size of myisam_sort_buffer_size from 8M to 128M.
- Changed default size of sort_buffer_size in aria_chk from 128M to 256M.
- Increased information in error message about 'sort_buffer_size' beeing to small.
- Print also to 'show warnings' if repair was retried.
- Increased size of internal sort-buffer-readers from 16K to 128K
- Changed printing of 'number of records' to use %ll instead of casting to long
- Changed buffer sizes for myisam and aria to use MY_ALIGN_DOWN() to get same number of bytes allocated on different machines.
