- Added MALLOC_LIBRARY variable to hold name of malloc library
- Back ported valgrind related fixes from jemalloc 3.4.1 to the included jemalloc 3.3.1
- Renamed bitmap_init() and bitmap_free() to my_bitmap_init() and my_bitmap_free() to avoid clash with jemalloc 3.4.1
- Use option --soname-synonyms=somalloc=NON to valgrind when using jemalloc
- Show version related variables in mysqld --help
-- Added SHOW_VALUE_IN_HELP marker
Increased back_log to 150 as the original value was a bit too small

- the problem was caused by EXPLAIN INSERT SELECT. For that statement,
the code would call select_insert::prepare2(), which would call
handler->ha_start_bulk_insert(). The corresponding handler->end_bulk_insert()
call is made from select_insert::send_eof or select_insert::abort_result_set
which are never called for EXPLAIN INSERT SELECT.
- Fixed by re-using approach of mysql-5.6: don't call ha_start_bulk_insert() if
we are in EXPLAIN.
The merge is still missing a few hunks related to temporary tables and
InnoDB log file size. The associated code did not seem to exist in
10.0, so the merge of that needs more work. Until this is fixed, there
are a number of test failures as a result.
- It turns out, there are statements that will call lex_start(thd->lex)
after parsing has been finished. lex_start() will set lex->explain=NULL,
which will lose the pointer to already allocated Explain_plan object.
- To get rid of this, switch to lazy creation of lex->explain. Now, it is
created only when we get a part ot query plan.
Update the SHOW EXPLAIN code to work with the
new architecture (part#1):
Before, SHOW EXPLAIN operated on real query plan structures,
which meant it had to check when SELECTs are created/deleted.
SELECTs would call apc_target->enable() when they got a query
plan and disable() when their query plan was deleted.
Now, Explain data structure becomes available at once (and we
call apc_target->enable()) and then it stays until it is deleted
(when that happens, we call apc_target->disable()).

Problem:
Insert with 'on duplicate key update' on a view,
crashes the server.
Analysis:
During an insert on to a view, we do the following:
For insert fields and values -
1. Resolve insert values.
2. Resolve insert fields.
3. Check if the fields and values are all from a
single table of a view in case of INSERT VALUES.
Do not check the same in case of INSERT SELECT,
as the values can be read from different table than
that of the view.
For the update fields (if DUP UPDATE is used)
1. Create a name resolution context with 'table_list' only.
2. Resolve update fields in this context.
3. Check if update fields and values are from the same
table as the insert fields.
4. Get the next name resolution context. Concatinate this
with the previous one.
5. Resolve update values in this context as we can refer
to other tables in the values clause.
Note that at step 3(of update fields), we check for
'used_tables map' of update values, without resolving them
first. Hence the crash.
Fix:
At step 3, do not pass the update values to check if its a
single table view update, as update values can refer other table.
Code has been re-organized to function like check_insert_fields.

Do not pass update_values as they are not resolved yet.

-Change my_rnd() slightly to make it safer if two threads use it at the same time.
-Avoid some sprintf and strmov in vio.
-Changed thread_count to be automically incremented (instead of under LOCK_thread_count).
-Thread cache now uses LOCK_thread_cache instead of LOCK_thread_count.
-Moved delete thd out from LOCK_thread_count.
-Save some mysql_cond_broadcast(&COND_thread_count) calls.
-Removed call to getsockname() during connect.
-Initialize random generator without locks.
Other things:
-Added thread_safe_decrement32() and thread_safe_increment32()
-Removed sql_rnd_with_mutex() and get_thread_running()
