The relevant InnoDB/XtraDB fixes up to 5.6.42 had already
been applied to MariaDB in commit 30c3d6db32.
Revert some changes that appeared in
the merge commit 87d852f102.
This is motivated by Oracle MySQL Bug #27542720 SCHEMA MISMATCH
- TABLE FLAGS DON'T MATCH, BUT FLAGS ARE NUMBERS
but using a different approach.
row_import::match_schema(): In case of a mismatch, display the
ROW_FORMAT and optionally KEY_BLOCK_SIZE of the .cfg file.
When Oracle fixed MDEV-13899 in their own way, they moved the
condition to the only caller of PageConverter::update_records().
Thus, the merge of 5.6.40 into MariaDB added a redundant condition.
PageConverter::update_records(): Move the page_is_leaf() condition
to the only caller, PageConverter::update_index_page().
PageConverter::adjust_cluster_record(): Instead of writing
the invalid value DB_ROLL_PTR=0, write a value that indicates
a fresh insert, that is, prevents the DB_ROLL_PTR from being
dereferenced in any circumstances.
It can be argued that IMPORT TABLESPACE should actually
update the dict_index_t::trx_id to prevent older transactions
from accessing the table, similar to what I did on table
rebuild in MySQL 5.6.6 in
03f81a55f2
The ALTER TABLE…IMPORT TABLESPACE adjustment code that was introduced by
WL#5522 in MySQL 5.6 is incorrectly invoking rec_get_status() on a
ROW_FORMAT=REDUNDANT record to determine if a record is a leaf page record.
The function rec_get_status(rec) is only to be called on
ROW_FORMAT=COMPACT, DYNAMIC or COMPRESSED records.
Do not silence uncertain cases, or fix any bugs.
The only functional change should be that ha_federated::extra()
is not calling DBUG_PRINT to report an unhandled case for
HA_EXTRA_PREPARE_FOR_DROP.
This is a reduced version of an originally much larger patch.
We will keep the definition of the ulint, lint data types unchanged,
and we will not be replacing fprintf() calls with ib_logf().
On Windows, use the standard format strings instead of nonstandard
extensions.
This patch fixes some errors in format strings.
Most notably, an IMPORT TABLESPACE error message in InnoDB was
displaying the number of columns instead of the mismatching flags.
Syntax. Server support. Test cases.
InnoDB bugfixes:
* don't mess around with system sprintf's, always use my_error() for errors.
* don't use InnoDB internal error codes where OS error codes are expected.
* don't say "file not found", when it was.
support ha_innodb.so as a dynamic plugin.
* remove obsolete *,innodb_plugin.rdiff files
* s/--plugin-load=/--plugin-load-add=/
* MYSQL_PLUGIN_IMPORT glob_hostname[]
* use my_error instead of push_warning_printf(ER_DEFAULT)
* don't use tdc_size and tc_size in a module
update test cases (XtraDB is 5.6.14, InnoDB is 5.6.10)
* copy new tests over
* disable some tests for (old) InnoDB
* delete XtraDB tests that no longer apply
small compatibility changes:
* s/HTON_EXTENDED_KEYS/HTON_SUPPORTS_EXTENDED_KEYS/
* revert unnecessary InnoDB changes to make it a bit closer to the upstream
fix XtraDB to compile on Windows (both as a static and a dynamic plugin)
disable XtraDB on Windows (deadlocks) and where no atomic ops are available (e.g. CentOS 5)
