c279878493 Thread safe histograms loading
Previously multiple threads were allowed to load histograms concurrently.
There were no known problems caused by this. But given amount of data
races in this code, it'd happen sooner or later.

To avoid scalability bottleneck, histograms loading is protected by
per-TABLE_SHARE atomic variable.

Whenever histograms were loaded by preceding statement (hot-path), a
scalable load-acquire check is performed.

Whenever histograms have to be loaded anew, mutual exclusion for loaders
is established by atomic variable. If histograms are being loaded
concurrently, statement waits until load is completed.

- Table_statistics::total_hist_size moved to TABLE_STATISTICS_CB: only
  meaningful within TABLE_SHARE (not used for collected stats).
- TABLE_STATISTICS_CB::histograms_can_be_read and
  TABLE_STATISTICS_CB::histograms_are_read are replaced with a tri state
  atomic variable.
- Simplified away alloc_histograms_for_table_share().

Note: there's still likely a data race if a thread attempts accessing
histograms data after it failed to load it (because of concurrent load).
It was there previously and goes out of the scope of this effort. One way
of fixing it could be reviving TABLE::histograms_are_read and adding
appropriate checks whenever it is needed.

Part of MDEV-19061 - table_share used for reading statistical tables is
                     not protected

b1ab2ba583 MDEV-20519: Query plan regression with optimizer_use_condition_selectivity > 1
The issue here is the wrong estimate of the cardinality of a partial join,
the cardinality is too high because the function table_cond_selectivity()
returns an absurd number 100 while selectivity cannot be greater than 1.

When accessing table t by outer reference t1.a via index we do not perform any
range analysis for t. Yet we see TABLE::quick_key_parts[key] and
TABLE->quick_rows[key] contain a non-zero value though these should have been
remained untouched and equal to 0.

Thus real cause of the problem is that TABLE::init does not clean the arrays
TABLE::quick_key_parts[] and TABLE::>quick_rows[].
It should have done it because the TABLE structure created for any
instance of a table can be reused for many queries.

8540fa83bb MDEV-19421 Basic 3-way join queries are not parsed.
The parser returned a syntax error message for the queries with join
expressions like this t1 JOIN t2 [LEFT | RIGHT] JOIN t3 ON ... ON ... when
the second operand of the outer JOIN operation with ON clause was another
join expression with ON clause. In this expression the JOIN operator is
right-associative, i.e. expression has to be parsed as the expression
t1 JOIN (t2 [LEFT | RIGHT] JOIN t3 ON ... ) ON ...
Such join expressions are hard to parse because the outer JOIN is
left-associative if there is no ON clause for the first outer JOIN operator.
The patch implements the solution when the JOIN operator is always parsed
as right-associative and builds first the right-associative tree. If it
happens that there is no corresponding ON clause for this operator the
tree is converted to left-associative.

The idea of the solution was taken from the patch by Martin Hansson
"WL#8083: Fixed the join_table rule" from MySQL-8.0 code line.
As the grammar rules related to join expressions in MySQL-8.0 and
MariaDB-5.5+ are quite different MariaDB solution could not borrow
any code from the MySQL-8.0 solution.

3d2d060b62 fix gcc 8 compiler warnings
There were two newly enabled warnings:
1. cast for a function pointers. Affected sql_analyse.h, mi_write.c
   and ma_write.cc, mf_iocache-t.cc, mysqlbinlog.cc, encryption.cc, etc

2. memcpy/memset of nontrivial structures. Fixed as:
* the warning disabled for InnoDB
* TABLE, TABLE_SHARE, and TABLE_LIST got a new method reset() which
  does the bzero(), which is safe for these classes, but any other
  bzero() will still cause a warning
* Table_scope_and_contents_source_st uses `TABLE_LIST *` (trivial)
  instead of `SQL_I_List<TABLE_LIST>` (not trivial) so it's safe to
  bzero now.
* added casts in debug_sync.cc and sql_select.cc (for JOIN)
* move assignment method for MDL_request instead of memcpy()
* PARTIAL_INDEX_INTERSECT_INFO::init() instead of bzero()
* remove constructor from READ_RECORD() to make it trivial
* replace some memcpy() with c++ copy assignments

f9ac7032cb MDEV-14605 Changes to "ON UPDATE CURRENT_TIMESTAMP" fields are not
always logged properly with binlog_row_image=MINIMAL

There are two issues fixed in this commit.
The first is an observation of a multi-table UPDATE binlogged
in row-format in binlog_row_image=MINIMAL mode. While the UPDATE aims
at a table with an ON-UPDATE attribute its binlog after-image misses
to record also installed default value.
The reason for that turns out missed marking of default-capable fields
in TABLE::write_set.

This is fixed to mark such fields similarly to 10.2's MDEV-10134 patch (db7edfed17)
that introduced it. The marking follows up 93d1e5ce0b841bed's idea
to exploit TABLE:rpl_write_set introduced there though,
and thus does not mess (in 10.1) with the actual MDEV-10134 agenda.
The patch makes formerly arg-less TABLE::mark_default_fields_for_write()
to accept an argument which would be TABLE:rpl_write_set.

The 2nd issue is extra columns in in binlog_row_image=MINIMAL before-image
while merely a packed primary key is enough. The test main.mysqlbinlog_row_minimal
always had a wrong result recorded.
This is fixed to invoke a function that intended for read_set
possible filtering and which is called (supposed to) in all type of MDL, UPDATE
including; the test results have gotten corrected.

At *merging* from 10.1->10.2 the 1st "main" part of the patch is unnecessary
since the bug is not observed in 10.2, so only hunks from

  sql/sql_class.cc

are required.

9180e8666b MDEV-16465 Invalid (old?) table or database name or hang in ha_innobase::delete_table and log semaphore wait upon concurrent DDL with foreign keys
ALTER TABLE locks the table with TL_READ_NO_INSERT, to prevent the
source table modifications while it's being copied. But there's an
indirect way of modifying a table, via cascade FK actions.

After previous commits, an attempt to modify an FK parent table
will cause FK children to be prelocked, so the table-being-altered
cannot be modified by a cascade FK action, because ALTER holds a
lock and prelocking will wait.

But if a new FK is being added by this very ALTER, then the target
table is not locked yet (it's a temporary table). So, we have to
lock FK parents explicitly.

796d54df11 MDEV-16957: Server crashes in Field_iterator_natural_join::next upon 2nd execution of SP
The problem was that join_columns creation was not finished due to error of notfound column in USING, but next execution tried to use join_columns lists.

Solution is cleanup the lists on error. It can eat memory in statement MEM_ROOT but it is an error and error will be fixed or statement/procedure removed/altered.

changes in query execution plans.
Fixed by introducing table->rpl_write_set which holds which columns should

  (in opt_range.cc)
- Added error handling of failed unpack_current_row()
- Added missing call to mark_columns_needed_for_insert() for DELAYED INSERT

- In rpl_record.cc, removed not used variable error
