Merge of 10.0-mdev26 feature tree into 10.0-base.
Global transaction ID is prepended to each event group in the binlog.
Slave connect can request to start from GTID position instead of specifying
file name/offset of master binlog. This facilitates easy switch to a new
master.
Slave GTID state is stored in a table mysql.rpl_slave_state, which can be
InnoDB to get crash-safe slave state.
GTID includes a replication domain ID, allowing to keep track of distinct
positions for each of multiple masters.
* print "table doesn't exist in engine" when a table doesn't exist in the engine,
instead of "file not found" (if no file was involved)
* print a complete filename that cannot be found ('t1.MYI', not 't1')
* it's not an error for a DROP if a table doesn't exist in the engine (or some table
files cannot be found) - if the DROP succeeded regardless
Replace CHANGE MASTER TO ... master_gtid_pos='xxx' with a new system
variable @@global.gtid_pos.
This is more logical; @@gtid_pos is global, not per-master, and it is not
affected by RESET SLAVE.
Also rename master_gtid_pos=AUTO to master_use_gtid=1, which again is more
logical.
Fix yet another race in the rpl_gtid_startpos test case.
Implement include/wait_for_purge.inc to purge binary logs; we need to
retry the purge multiple times until it succeeds in removing all the logs
we want, as binlog dump threads can be slow to stop on loaded machines and
hold back purge of logs that are still referenced by the thread.
Adjust full test suite to work with GTID.
Huge patch, mainly due to having to update .result file for all SHOW BINLOG
EVENTS and mysqlbinlog outputs, where the new GTID events pop up.
Everything was painstakingly checked to be still correct and valid .result
file updates.
- Fix that binlog_gtid_pos() (and hence slave connect) does not work
correctly in the very first binlog file (due to not logging empty
Gtid_list_log_event).
- Remove one instance of the stupid domain_id-0-is-implicit.
- Rename the confusing Gtid_Pos_Auto in SHOW SLAVE STATUS to Using_Gtid.
- Fix memory leak.
- Add first basic mysql-test-run test case which tests switch to new master
using MASTER_GTID_POS=AUTO.
- When we connect with GTID, do not use any old relay logs, as they may
contain the wrong events or be corrupt after crash.
- Fix old bug that fails replication if we receive a heartbeat event
immediately after an event was omitted in the stream from the master.
- Fix rpl_end to clear Gtid_Pos_Auto, to keep check_testcase happy.
The patch lifts the limitation of the current implementation
of ALTER TABLE that does not allow to build unique/primary
indexes by sort for MyISAM and Aria engines.
have_openssl variable was ON even when OpenSSL was not used (but YaSSL was).
fix that, so that have_openssl really corresponds to OpenSSL
rename not_openssl.inc to not_ssl.inc and fix the test accordingly.
With MDEV-532, the binlog_checkpoint event is logged asynchronously
from a binlog background thread. This causes some sporadic failures
in some test cases whose output depends on order of events in
binlog.
Fix using an include file that waits until the binlog checkpoint
event has been logged before proceeding with the test case.

Bug #11766001: 59026: ALLOW MULTIPLE --PLUGIN-LOAD OPTIONS
Implemented support for a new command line option :
--plugin-load-add=<comma-separated-name-equals-value-list>
This option takes the same type of arguments that --plugin-load does
and complements --plugin-load (that continues to operate as before) by
appending its argument to the list specified by --plugin-load.
So --plugin-load can be considered a composite option consisting of
resetting the plugin load list and then calling --plugin-load-add to process
the argument.
Note that the order in which you specify --plugin-load and --plugin-load-add
is important : "--plugin-load=x --plugin-load-add=y" will be equivalent to
"--plugin-load=x,y" whereas "--plugin-load-add=y --plugin-load=x" will be
equivalent to "plugin-load=x".
Incompatible change : the --help --verbose command will no longer print the
--plugin-load variable's values (as it doesn't have one). Otherwise both --plugin-load
and --plugin-load-add are mentioned in it.
