The patch provides ER_TRUNCATED_WRONG_VALUE warning messages
for conversion of VARCHAR to numberic values, in line with
messages provided for CHAR conversions. Conversions are
checked for success, and the message is emitted in case
failure.
The tests are amended to accept the added warning messages,
and explicit conversion of ON/OFF values is added for
statements checking system variables. In test
rpl.rpl_switch_stm_row_mixed checking for warnings is
temporarily disabled for one statement, as this generates
warning messages for strings that vary between executions.
sql/field.cc:
The pushing of the truncation warning is now done in a
separate static function, and used in various places.

* Some InnoDB tests still fail (because it's old xtradb code run against
newer testsuite). They are expected to go after mergning with the latest
xtradb.

produce a single output in those two cases (no way to make it exclude InnoDB I_S
tables), let the test depend on InnoDB, it isn't a very selective condition, and the
test is simple enough.

A query with the "ORDER BY @@some_system_variable" clause,
where @@some_system_variable is NULL, causes assertion
failure in the filesort procedures.
The reason of the failure is in the value of
Item_func_get_system_var::maybe_null: it was unconditionally
set to false even if the value of a variable was NULL.

to skip unwanted warnings: now it uses the THD::no_errors
flag to suppress warnings.
The Item_func_get_system_var::update_null_value method
sets the no_error flag.

from Item_func_get_system_var::val_int() calls on non-numeric
variable values: the Item_func_get_system_var::update_null_value
method sets and restores THD::no_errors flag for a nested
call of the longlong_from_string_with_check function.

There were so many changes into mtr (this is the new mtr coming) that I rather
copied mtr from 6.0-main here (at least this one knows how to run Maria tests).
I also fixed suite/maria tests to be accepted by the new mtr.
