followup for a3c980b381
same change in Locked_tables_list::unlink_from_list(), otherwise
thd->locked_tables_list will keep pointers to a free'd TABLE if
prelocked under lock tables.
This fixes a crash in main.create_or_replace on debug Win builds
after bcb36ee21e
ALTER TABLE ... ADD PARTITION modifies the open TABLE structure,
and sets table->need_reopen=1 to reset these modifications
in case of an error.
But under LOCK TABLES the table isn't get reopened, despite need_reopen.
Fixed by reopening need_reopen tables under LOCK TABLE.
Adjust the fix for MDEV-15472:
In close_cached_tables(), locked_tables_list.reopen_tables(...) call
might be made when a previous call to some function has already returned
error.
In this scenario, the function should return 0, even if reopen_tables(...)
call has succeeded.
MDEV-14831 CREATE OR REPLACE SEQUENCE under LOCK TABLE corrupts the
sequence, causes ER_KEY_NOT_FOUND
The problem was that sequence_insert didn't properly handle the case
where there where there was a LOCK TABLE while creating the sequence.
Fixed by opening the sequence table, for inserting the first record, in
a new environment without any other open tables.
Found also a bug in Locked_tables_list::reopen_tables() where the lock
structure for the new tables was allocated in THD::mem_root, which causes
crashes. This could cause problems with other create tables done under
LOCK TABLES.
MariaDB differs from the upstream for "DDL-like" command. For these,
it sets binlog_format=STATEMENT for the duration of the statement.
This doesn't play well with MyRocks, which tries to prevent DML
commands with binlog_format!=ROW.
Also, if Locked_tables_list::reopen_tables() returned an error, then
close_cached_tables should propagate the error condition and not silently
consume it (it's difficult to have test coverage for this because this
error condition is rare)
- CREATE PACKAGE [BODY] statements are now
entirely written to mysql.proc with type='PACKAGE' and type='PACKAGE BODY'.
- CREATE PACKAGE BODY now supports IF NOT EXISTS
- DROP PACKAGE BODY now supports IF EXISTS
- CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE [BODY] is now supported
- CREATE PACKAGE [BODY] now support the DEFINER clause:
CREATE DEFINER user@host PACKAGE pkg ... END;
CREATE DEFINER user@host PACKAGE BODY pkg ... END;
- CREATE PACKAGE [BODY] now supports SQL SECURITY and COMMENT clauses, e.g.:
CREATE PACKAGE p1 SQL SECURITY INVOKER COMMENT "comment" AS ... END;
- Package routines are now created from the package CREATE PACKAGE BODY
statement and don't produce individual records in mysql.proc.
- CREATE PACKAGE BODY now supports package-wide variables.
Package variables can be read and set inside package routines.
Package variables are stored in a separate sp_rcontext,
which is cached in THD on the first packate routine call.
- CREATE PACKAGE BODY now supports the initialization section.
- All public routines (i.e. declared in CREATE PACKAGE)
must have implementations in CREATE PACKAGE BODY
- Only public package routines are available outside of the package
- {CREATE|DROP} PACKAGE [BODY] now respects CREATE ROUTINE and ALTER ROUTINE
privileges
- "GRANT EXECUTE ON PACKAGE BODY pkg" is now supported
- SHOW CREATE PACKAGE [BODY] is now supported
- SHOW PACKAGE [BODY] STATUS is now supported
- CREATE and DROP for PACKAGE [BODY] now works for non-current databases
- mysqldump now supports packages
- "SHOW {PROCEDURE|FUNCTION) CODE pkg.routine" now works for package routines
- "SHOW PACKAGE BODY CODE pkg" now works (the package initialization section)
- A new package body level MDL was added
- Recursive calls for package procedures are now possible
- Routine forward declarations in CREATE PACKATE BODY are now supported.
- Package body variables now work as SP OUT parameters
- Package body variables now work as SELECT INTO targets
- Package body variables now support ROW, %ROWTYPE, %TYPE
enum_mark_columns -> enum_column_usage
mark_used_columns -> column_usage
further commits will replace MARK_COLUMN_NONE with
COLUMN_READ and COLUMN_WRITE that convey the intention
without causing columns to be marked
* don't disclose INVISIBLE_FULL columns in USING and NATURAL JOIN
* other INVISIBLE columns must me mentioned by name in USING,
they are hidden from NATURAL JOIN
Standard compatible behavior for UPDATE: all assignments in SET
are executed "simultaneously", not left-to-right. And `SET a=b,b=a`
will swap the values.
Handle string length as size_t, consistently (almost always:))
Change function prototypes to accept size_t, where in the past
ulong or uint were used. change local/member variables to size_t
when appropriate.
This fix excludes rocksdb, spider,spider, sphinx and connect for now.
Problem:- If we create table field with dynamic default value then that
field always gets NULL value.
Analyze:- This is because in fill_record we simple continue at Invisible
column because we though that share->default_values(default value is
always copied into table->record[0] before insert) will have a default
value for them(which is true for constant defaults , but not for dynamic
defaults).
Solution:- We simple set all_fields_have_value to null , and this will
make call to update_default_fields (in the case of dynamic default), And
default expr will be evaluted and value will be set in field.
This was done in, among other things:
- thd->db and thd->db_length
- TABLE_LIST tablename, db, alias and schema_name
- Audit plugin database name
- lex->db
- All db and table names in Alter_table_ctx
- st_select_lex db
Other things:
- Changed a lot of functions to take const LEX_CSTRING* as argument
for db, table_name and alias. See init_one_table() as an example.
- Changed some function arguments from LEX_CSTRING to const LEX_CSTRING
- Changed some lists from LEX_STRING to LEX_CSTRING
- threads_mysql.result changed because process list_db wasn't always
correctly updated
- New append_identifier() function that takes LEX_CSTRING* as arguments
- Added new element tmp_buff to Alter_table_ctx to separate temp name
handling from temporary space
- Ensure we store the length after my_casedn_str() of table/db names
- Removed not used version of rename_table_in_stat_tables()
- Changed Natural_join_column::table_name and db_name() to never return
NULL (used for print)
- thd->get_db() now returns db as a printable string (thd->db.str or "")
Now we don't open partitions if it was explicitly cpecified.
ha_partition::m_opened_partition bitmap added to track
partitions that were actually opened.
Remove non prepared (and so belonging to removed clauses FT functions) from the list.
in later version it will be fixed by building the list during preparation.
Many related changes.
Note that AS OF condition must always be pushed down to physical tables,
it cannot be applied to a derived or a view. Thus:
* no versioning for internal temporary tables, they can never store
historical data.
* remove special versioning code from mysql_derived_prepare and
remove ER_VERS_DERIVED_PROHIBITED - derived can have no historical
data and cannot be prohibited for system versioning related reasons.
* do not expand select list for derived/views with sys vers fields,
derived/views can never have historical data.
* remove special invisiblity rules for sys vers fields, they are no
longer needed after the previous change
* remove system_versioning_hide, it lost the meaning after the
previous change.
* remove ER_VERS_SYSTEM_TIME_CLASH, it's no "clash", the inner
AS OF clause always wins.
* non-versioned fields in a historical query
reword the warning text, downgrade to note, don't
replace values with NULLs
