handler::clone() call did not work with read only tables like S3.
It gave a wrong error message (out of memory instead of a permission
error) and aborted the query.
The issue was that the clone call had a wrong parameter to ha_open().
This now fixed. I also changed the clone call to provide the correct
error message if things fails.
This patch fixes an 'out of memory' error when using the S3 engine
for queries that could use multiple indexes together to find the matching
rows, like the following:
SELECT * FROM t1 WHERE key1 = 99 OR key2 = 2
* rpl.rpl_system_versioning_partitions updated for MDEV-32188
* innodb.row_size_error_log_warnings_3 changed error for MDEV-33658
(checks are done in a different order)
Add support for removing the Content-Type header to the S3 engine. This
is required for compatibility with some S3 providers.
This also adds a provider option to the S3 engine which will turn on
relevant compatibility options for specific providers.
This was required for getting MariaDB S3 engine to work with "Huawei
Cloud S3".
To get Huawei S3 storage to work on has set one of the following
S3 options:
s3_provider=Huawei
s3_ssl_no_verify=1

Some fixes related to commit f838b2d799 and
Rows_log_event::do_apply_event() and Update_rows_log_event::do_exec_row()
for system-versioned tables were provided by Nikita Malyavin.
This was required by test versioning.rpl,trx_id,row.
not default_mysqld.cnf. The latter has only server settings,
it misses mtr-specific client configuration
Except for spider, that doesn't use mysqld.1 server
and default_my.cnf starts it automatically.
Spider tests have to include both default_mysqld.cnf and
default_client.cnf
The previous commit for MDEV-32884 fixed the s3_protocol_version option,
which was previous only using "Auto", no matter what it was set to. This
patch does several things to keep the old behaviour whilst correcting
for new behaviour and laying the groundwork for the future. This
includes:
* `Original` now means v2 protocol, which it would have been due to the
option not working, so upgrades will stil work.
* A new `Legacy` option has been added to mean v1 protocol.
* Options `Path` and `Domain` have been added, these will be the only
two options apart from `Auto` in a future release, and are more
aligned with what this variable means.
* Fixed the s3.debug test so that it works with v2 protocol.
* Fixed the s3.amazon test so that it works with region subdomains.
* Added additional modes to the s3.amazon test.
* Added s3.not_amazon test for the remaining modes.
This replaces PR #2902.
Recording test results according to MDEV-29446 changes:
mysql-test/suite/galera/r/galera_rsu_wsrep_desync.result
mysql-test/suite/galera/r/galera_sync_wait_show.result

Other things:
- Don't allocate an IO_CACHE for scanning tables of type BLOCK
(It was never used in this case)
- Fixed bug in page cache that cased a hang when trying to read a
not existing S3 block.
