From d309fc74bc8aa75042c7874def94cf49eba42031 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: sunny Date: Thu, 29 Oct 2009 23:42:11 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] branches/zip: This test has been problematic for sometime now. The underlying bug is that the data dictionaries get out of sync. In the AUTOINC code we try and apply salve to the symptoms. In the past MySQL made some unrelated change and the dictionaries stopped getting out of sync and this test started to fail. Now, it seems they have reverted that changed and the test is passing again. I suspect this is not he last time that this test will change. --- mysql-test/innodb-autoinc.result | 3 +-- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/mysql-test/innodb-autoinc.result b/mysql-test/innodb-autoinc.result index e662a6772c7..abb8f3da072 100644 --- a/mysql-test/innodb-autoinc.result +++ b/mysql-test/innodb-autoinc.result @@ -888,14 +888,13 @@ Table Create Table t1 CREATE TABLE `t1` ( `d1` int(11) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT, PRIMARY KEY (`d1`) -) ENGINE=InnoDB AUTO_INCREMENT=4 DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1 +) ENGINE=InnoDB AUTO_INCREMENT=3 DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1 INSERT INTO t1 VALUES(null); SELECT * FROM t1; d1 1 2 3 -4 DROP TABLE t1; SET @@SESSION.AUTO_INCREMENT_INCREMENT=1, @@SESSION.AUTO_INCREMENT_OFFSET=1; SHOW VARIABLES LIKE "%auto_inc%";
