Akash Kulhalli	c4bf8be755	common: More platform-aware changes ... The vast majority of these changes have to do with platform-specific headers, which have all been encapsulated in a single header `platform.h`. This header encapsulates all the header changes required and also helps keep the resulting patch cleaner. Some GNU extensions to pthread behaviours are clearly labeled as such, because some of them do not have any AIX or POSIX equivalents.
